iEARN 2017 Morocco - Conference Diary - Day 5 in pics & links part 1

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH PRESS

Imprensa Jovem (Youth Press) created by professor Carlos Lima, has been a successful program in the municipal schools of São Paulo for some years. Through the Imprensa Jovem schools socialize media works like radio, newspaper, school TV, mural newspaper, etc. Young students are already known for their participation in covering important events in the city. Teachers and schools that wish to join Imprensa Jovem receive training and technical support through courses taught by Professor Carlos Lima and team. Our goal in presenting the young press at the 23rd iEARN Annual Conference was to bring this opportunity to schools around the world to join us and learn from each other and together with Lima create the International Youth Press integrating iEARN platform. 

Teachers Rosangela Rocha, who is also responsible for Hip Hop on the Spot project and Rose Gimenes presented the Youth press proposal at the conference. Lima himself joined us through a recorded presentation. There is a lot of hard work to do until we submit the International Youth Press to iEARN projects book and platform and your contribution is more than welcome.
